Laundry Driver

A delivery driver is responsible for Delivery the linens to the clients timely and safely, Maintained the invoices and the quantity received and delivered. Key duties include loading and unloading the vehicle, following assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws, and providing excellent customer service, which may involve collecting Invoices, handling complaints, and getting signatures. The role also requires performing vehicle inspections, maintaining delivery records, and using GPS navigation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Delivery: Transport a variety of items to different locations, ensuring they arrive in good condition and on schedule.
• Logistics: Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS and adhere to time schedules.
• Loading and unloading: Assist Delivery boy and Safely load and unload items from the delivery vehicle, ensuring they are secured properly and items tally with the Invoices/Laundry Bills.
• Customer service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, which can include collecting Linens, documents. handling inquiries, and resolving complaints.
• Vehicle maintenance: Perform regular inspections of the delivery vehicle, report any issues, and ensure it is clean at all the time and in good working order.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs, complete required paperwork, and process payments when needed.
• Safety: Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.

Required qualifications

• A valid driver's license.
• A clean driving record is often preferred.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with GPS and other routing systems.
• Physical ability to lift and carry items for extended periods.
