Location: Abu Dhabi - Western region

Job Summary:

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry department in a camp facility. This role ensures that all laundry is processed efficiently, effectively, and to a high standard of quality. The supervisor will lead a team of laundry staff, maintain equipment, and implement hygiene and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Laundry Staff: Lead, train, and motivate the laundry team to ensure efficient and high-quality laundry services.

2. Laundry Operations: Oversee the washing, drying, folding, and ironing of linens, uniforms, and other textiles.

3. Quality Control: Ensure all laundry meets the required standards of cleanliness, quality, and presentation.

4. Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain laundry equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

5. Hygiene and Safety: Implement and enforce strict hygiene and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a clean working environment.

6. Inventory Management: Monitor and control laundry supplies, linens, and uniforms to ensure adequate stock levels.

7. Customer Service: Respond to guest/staff queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.

- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in laundry supervision or a related field.

- Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and operations.

- Attention to detail and quality control.

Working Conditions:

- Shift Work: May be required to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Physical Demands: May be required to lift, carry, and move heavy laundry bags or equipment.
