Laundry/Housekeeping

We are looking for two Laundry/Housekeeping Team Member to join our wonderful team, and to make our clients feel welcome and ensure their pleasant and comfortable stay at our hotel. What is the role of a Laundry/Housekeeping Team Member? Laundry/Housekeeping Team Member responsibilities include laundry, housekeeping, and assisting with special projects for the property. You will mainly be responsible for laundry (washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing) and housekeeping (make sure our rooms are up to or exceed our standards that our guests have come to expect). You do not have to have previous experience, but you will need the ability to listen, learn, and have a good attitude. Our ideal candidates have a willingness to learn, with the ability to resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner. Ultimately, you will do different types of jobs on each shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide the ability to clean the rooms up to or exceed our standards
• Attention to detail and quality
• Ensure the laundry is handled, cleaned, ironed, folded, and put away in its proper areas
• Be able to work well with Management and the Head of Housekeeping
• To be able to work your scheduled shifts
• To keep busy and work on other projects during slower times
• Ability to work without using your phone
• Ability to work well with others and to be a good Team Member
• To be honest
• Polite
• Be able to work without being on your phone
• Be able to work the weekends
• Be able to work 4-5 days per week

Skills

• To be able to be trained and learn
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
• Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Ability to work from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM
• Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
