Housekeeper/Laundry Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing linens.
- Launder and fold linens, towels, and other items as needed.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as required.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are stocked and maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to health and safety standards to provide a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

Skills:
- Proven experience in cleaning and housekeeping roles.
- Knowledge of laundry procedures and techniques.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
