Law Clerk

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our dynamic legal team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience of legal practice in Employment Law. As a Law Clerk, you will support attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting documents, discovery, managing case files, and assisting with client interviews and document review. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as Westlaw.
• Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, memoranda, discovery, correspondence etc. with precision and clarity.
• Assist attorneys with case management tasks such as organizing files in document management systems and maintaining accurate data entry records.
• Review legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable laws etc.
• Support litigation efforts through document review, case file organization, and preparation of trial materials.
• Conduct client interviews. Participate in mediations, depositions etc.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence.
• Ability to perform detailed research on complex legal issues related to contracts, litigation procedures, or regulatory compliance.
• Effective interviewing skills combined with professional phone etiquette for client interactions.
• Strong proofreading and transcription abilities to ensure accuracy in all legal documentation.

Pay: $26.79 - $32.27 per hour
