Law Enforcement Transcriptionist

Position Overview:
We are seeking detail-oriented and highly reliable transcriptionists to support law enforcement transcription services. This is an independent contractor position offering a flexible schedule and consistent workflow for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately transcribe law enforcement audio recordings, including interviews, interrogations, and other investigative content
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all data security requirements
• Ensure transcripts meet quality and formatting standards
• Meet turnaround deadlines consistently

Requirements:

• Prior transcription experience required (law enforcement or legal transcription preferred)
• Minimum commitment of 4 hours of audio transcription per week
• Must operate as an independent contractor
• Must have your own transcription equipment, including foot pedal and high-quality headset
• Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Ability to understand multiple speakers, accents, and varying audio quality
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Work Schedule:

• Flexible schedule — work on your own time while meeting deadlines

Additional Information:
This is a remote, contract-based opportunity. Work volume may vary, but consistent availability is preferred. Candidates must be dependable and capable of managing assignments independently.
