Job Summary
IInsurance Defense Law Firm is seeking a Business Office Administrator to perform the operations of our legal practice’s billing, administrative and Human Resources.

Duties

  • Billing and accounts receivable for some of the firm’s clients - Prepare for and submit bills for a portion of firm clients on external billing systems, follow up on accounts receivable, and submit appeals
  • Office management - general administration of daily operations and working with firm vendors and administration of the various IT systems in use.
  • HR duties – recruitment of secretaries and paralegals, employee onboarding, benefits management, payroll processing, and regulatory filings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Law Firm office management or administrative roles
  • Strong proficiency in legal billing including budgets, staff plans and appeals
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and the technology used in a law firm
  • Knowledge of human resources processes including payroll administration and employee onboarding
  • College Degree in a business related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
