Scope of Work
This contract role supports the firm across several functional buckets of work. Applicants may have strengths in one or more areas (for example: operations, bookkeeping, client coordination, or paralegal support). We encourage candidates to apply even if they only meet some of the qualifications.
The ideal candidate(s) will take initiative, communicate clearly, and help improve processes so the firm can operate efficiently and provide excellent client service.
Buckets of Work & Example Responsibilities
1. Case & Client Management (Hybrid, based in Las Vegas)
- Support overall calendar management, including scheduling internal and external meetings
- Track tasks, deliverables, and deadlines across the firm
- Answer and respond to incoming calls on the office line
- Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, requests for information, and next steps
- Support client intake and offboarding processes
- Draft client-facing documents for review
- Coordinate billing and invoicing related to client matters
- Maintain and improve document management systems for case files
Helpful skills: bilingual in Spanish and English, professionalism, strong communication, client-facing experience, and ability to manage multiple moving pieces.
2. Operations & Administrative Support (Remote)
- Serve as a liaison with insurance providers and assist with paperwork
- Draft and manage contracts and confidentiality agreements
- Send documents via DocuSign and track signatures
- Collect and organize contractor paperwork (e.g., W-9s)
- Track contract terms and expiration dates
- Maintain organized electronic filing systems
- Support required business and state compliance filings
Helpful skills: organization, document management, follow-through, and comfort working with templates and systems.
3. Paralegal Support for Family Law Cases (Hybrid, based in Las Vegas)
- Prepare and file legal documents
- Conduct legal research
- Support case-related administrative tasks
Helpful skills: prior paralegal or legal assistant experience, bilingual in Spanish and English
4. Finance & Bookkeeping Support (Remote)
- Review and code monthly bank transactions
- Support monthly reconciliations, including IOLTA accounts
- Track expenses, budgets, and cash flow
- Prepare and organize financial documents for the firm’s accountant
- Support billing and invoicing processes, including tracking payments
- Process contractor payments and assist with 1099 preparation
- Help improve and document financial processes over time
Helpful skills: comfort with numbers, attention to detail, experience with QuickBooks and basic accounting principles, high level of discretion and trustworthiness.

- Scope and workload will depend on candidate's skills

- One generalist covering multiple buckets, or
- Multiple specialists covering different areas
