Personal Injury Legal Assistant - Car Accident, Negligent Security and Medical Malpractice

Help with scheduling hearings, depositions and mediations

Help with maintaining trial calendar/mediation calendar and ensuring court deadlines are met

Help with drafting and revising closing statements

Responsible for working with attorney and clients on drafting discovery responses

Help with drafting pleadings

Help with typing dictations

Responsible for obtaining medical records, bills, ledgers and liens

Requirements:

Must have Legal Assistant (litigation a plus) experience

Must be reliable and punctual

Must be organized and self-motivated with high attention to detail

Must be able to communicate efficiently

Must be proficient in computer based technology

Preferred Bilingual (Spanish)

This position will help handling 40-50 litigation files and will be working with one associate, One Paralegal and light interaction with two partners.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
