Duties

• Assist customers in finding the right lawn tractor for his or her needs
• Provide expert advice on lawn and garden tractors and accessories
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations to assist counter staff when busy
• Organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and accessible to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain organized inventory records on computer spreadsheet, conduct stock replenishment, and assist with merchandising strategies
• Support E-commerce initiatives by helping customers place online orders or pick up in-store purchases efficiently
• Track the entire sale of a unit and follow through to delivery

Skills

• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse customers effectively
• Organizational skills to manage stocking showroom inventory
• Physical fitness to be able to push lawn tractors to organize showroom
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service by listening attentively and offering tailored solutions
• Familiarity with retail sales processes, cash handling procedures, and store merchandising standards
• Ability to remember details of various models, and sales programs
• helpful but not mandatory--Ability to uncrate lawn tractors, add battery and steering wheel, and get ready to sell in the event help is needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,807.64 - $90,000.00 per year
