In this role, you’ll be actively involved in maintaining lawns, gardens, and hardscape features, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and aesthetic appeal. Your hands-on work will contribute to creating inviting environments for clients while gaining valuable experience in landscape maintenance and horticulture. Responsibilities

• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to maintain lawns and gardens efficiently.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and weed control to enhance the beauty and health of outdoor spaces.
• Use hand tools and machinery like shovels, rakes, excavators, and irrigation systems for planting, soil preparation, and landscape installation projects.
• Assist with hardscape construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other features that improve outdoor functionality.
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate safety procedures and equipment.
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients’ properties.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal operation throughout the season.

Experience

• Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care practices or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Basic mechanical knowledge related to power tools and landscaping machinery is advantageous.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles or gardening techniques is a plus.
• Ability to operate construction or excavation equipment such as excavators is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in landscaping, tree care, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
