Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew in performing lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency
• Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for landscape installation and maintenance projects
• Maintain and repair landscaping equipment, including excavators, trimmers, blowers, and other machinery
• Execute landscape projects involving hardscape installation, tree trimming, irrigation setup, and gardening
• Assist with the installation of new landscapes by preparing sites, planting trees and shrubs, laying sod or seed, and installing garden features
• Conduct routine maintenance of equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed on all job sites
• Support team members with technical guidance on landscaping techniques and proper use of tools and machinery

Experience

• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or related outdoor work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with construction equipment such as excavators is a plus
• Hands-on experience with gardening, tree care (including trimming), irrigation systems, or snow plowing enhances your candidacy
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design concepts is advantageous
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and efficiently
• Strong teamwork skills with leadership potential to guide crew members effectively during projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
