Responsibilities:

• Mow, trim, edge, and blow residential and commercial properties
• Perform landscape maintenance including trimming shrubs, hedges, and small trees
• Operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers safely and efficiently
• Assist with mulching, planting, and other landscaping tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Prior lawn care or landscaping experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)
• Must be dependable and able to work outdoors in Florida heat
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor daily
• Valid driver’s license preferred (not required for crew members, required for crew leads/foreman)
• Reliable transportation to and from work

• Perform mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns to ensure a neat appearance.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks including planting, weeding, and mulching.
• Assist with tree care activities such as tree trimming and removal as needed.
• Operate equipment such as excavators for larger landscaping projects.
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution for plant health.
• Support hardscape installation including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct regular maintenance on all equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Participate in snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility of properties.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and equipment safely.
• Familiarity with gardening practices and landscape maintenance techniques.
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy objects and working in varying weather conditions.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is a plus.
• Experience in construction or hardscape projects is beneficial but not required.
