We are seeking a motivated and dependable Lawn Care Driver to join our dynamic landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting lawn care equipment, landscape materials, and team members to various job sites. Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport lawn care and landscaping equipment to designated job sites.
• Load and unload tools, machinery, and materials such as mowers, trimmers, hand tools, power tools, and irrigation supplies.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of landscaping projects by providing support with landscape maintenance tasks like mowing, tree trimming, shrubbery care, and hardscape installation.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning; report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols during transportation and on-site work to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Collaborate with the landscaping crew to coordinate daily schedules and ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and vehicles after each use.

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle or equipment issues.
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture.
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques including mowing, tree care, pruning, and hardscape installation.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other landscaping machinery safely.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and snow plowing procedures is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients when necessary. This position primarily involves weed whacking, edging, and blowing, with occasional mowing using zero-turn mowers. You will also be responsible for driving a truck and pulling a trailer to and from job sites, so comfort with driving and attention to safety are important.
