Lawn Care & Landscape Laborer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Laborer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in residential or commercial landscaping. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, and can perform a variety of landscape tasks efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lawn maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
• Install mulch, pine straw, decorative stone, and other landscape materials
• Trim bushes, shrubs, hedges, and small trees
• Assist with planting trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennials
• Operate landscape hand tools and small equipment safely
• Maintain clean job sites and follow all company quality standards
• Work effectively as part of a crew and follow instructions from crew leaders
• Represent The Local Pro with professionalism and respect at all customer properties

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in landscaping or lawn maintenance
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of landscape tools, equipment, and safety practices

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and other power equipment
• Basic knowledge of plant materials and landscape installation
• Valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $23.50 per year
