Lawn Care Technician — Route Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Run a daily service route applying fertilizer, weed control and insect control products
• Perform property diagnostics and assessments
• Provide recommendations based on turf conditions
• Safely operate a company vehicle with trailer
• Deliver excellent customer service and communication
• Complete daily required documentation
• Maintain equipment and follow safety and application compliance standards

Compensation & Bonuses

• $19/hour + overtime
• Commission bonuses
• $500 sign-on bonus
• Retention, annual, holiday, and performance bonuses
• Estimated annual earnings: $35,000 – $50,000/year

Required Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Driver’s License with a good driving record
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Strong customer communication skills
• Comfortable working in a physical outdoor environment

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

• Chauffeur’s License
• Current D.O.T. Physical / Medical Card
• M.D.A.R.D. 3A Certification (Michigan Commercial Turfgrass Applicator)
• Lawn care, turf management, or outdoor route service experience
