Duties

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure lush, healthy grass.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers to maintain landscaped areas efficiently.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks like planting, pruning trees and shrubs, and applying mulch or soil amendments.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators or skid steers for hardscape installation or landscape grading projects.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to optimize water distribution.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways.
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth.
• Perform general maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance.

Experience

• Prior experience with lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating power tools and maintaining equipment effectively.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques such as hardscape installation or garden design is advantageous.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual tasks.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators.
• Experience in construction or tree care services can enhance your ability to handle diverse outdoor projects.
