Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using push mowers, riding mowers, or other power tools to ensure even and attractive grass coverage
• Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges with hand tools or power equipment to maintain proper shape and health
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, weeding, fertilizing, and mulching to promote plant vitality
• Operate equipment including excavators, irrigation systems, and snow plows to support seasonal outdoor projects
• Assist with hardscape installations like patios or walkways by preparing surfaces and using appropriate tools
• Conduct routine maintenance on lawn care equipment and power tools to ensure safety and efficiency
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or tree trimming to keep outdoor spaces safe and accessible year-round

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain lawn care machinery and power tools
• Experience with lawn care techniques including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and watering systems
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as gardening, pruning, planting, and soil preparation
• Familiarity with landscaping design principles and hardscape installation methods
• Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, rakes) as well as larger equipment like excavators or snow plows
• Understanding of horticulture principles for plant health and growth optimization
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor environments efficiently and safely
