Lawn Care/Landscape Crew Member

Job Summary

Duties

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and excavators to perform routine lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks
• Assist with planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrubbery care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Support the installation of hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing basic repairs as needed
• Perform snow plowing and removal during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and community areas
• Conduct general site cleanup, debris removal, and equipment maintenance to uphold safety standards and project quality
• Collaborate with team members on landscape projects from start to finish while adhering to safety protocols

Experience

• Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners
• Basic mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and small machinery advantageous
• Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care practices, or gardening techniques is a plus
• Experience in construction or hardscape installation can be beneficial but is not mandatory
• Ability to operate equipment like snow plows or irrigation systems is a valuable asset
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in landscaping and outdoor maintenance
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• commercial lawncare/landscaping: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Drivers License (Required)
