Lawn Care/Snow Removal Crew Member (Full-Time) - Lead Position

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Seasonal Lawn Care & Snow Removal Lead Crew Member to help lead daily operations in the field. This position involves performing a variety of lawn maintenance, landscaping, and winter snow removal services while ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has experience operating equipment, and can work independently or lead a small crew when needed.

Responsibilities:

Lawn Care & Landscape Maintenance

• Mow, trim, edge, and maintain residential and commercial properties
• Apply fertilizers, weed control products, and other lawn treatments according to company standards
• Perform aeration, overseeding, dethatching, mulching, pruning, and seasonal cleanup services
• Install and maintain landscape beds, shrubs, and plantings
• Operate and maintain commercial lawn care equipment, including mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and other landscaping tools
• Inspect properties and identify potential lawn and landscape issues
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets company quality standards

Snow Removal Operations

• Perform snow plowing, snow blowing, shoveling, and ice management services for residential and commercial clients
• Operate trucks, plows, snow blowers, and other snow removal equipment
• Apply salt, sand, and de-icing products as needed
• Respond to snow events during early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
• Maintain safe and accessible walkways, parking lots, and driveways during winter weather conditions

Leadership & General Duties

• Lead and assist crew members in daily operations
• Safely drive company trucks and trailers to and from job sites
• Conduct routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and cleaning
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices
• Communicate professionally with customers and represent the company in a positive manner
• Complete job documentation and report equipment or property concerns to management

Qualifications:

• Previous lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, or related outdoor labor experience preferred
• Ability to safely drive and operate trucks and trailers
• Experience operating commercial lawn care equipment and/or snow removal equipment is a plus
• Strong communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, snow, and cold temperatures
• Must be physically fit and capable of lifting 50 pounds or more, walking long distances, and performing repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and snow event call-outs as needed
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
