Lawn Maintenance Crew driver

Position Summary

The Lawn Crew Driver is responsible for safely transporting landscaping crew members, equipment, and materials to and from job sites while assisting with lawn maintenance and landscaping duties. This position requires a dependable individual with a strong work ethic, safe driving habits, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment.
• Transport crew members, equipment, and materials to assigned job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and other lawn maintenance tasks.
• Load and unload equipment and supplies.
• Ensure equipment is properly secured during transport.
• Maintain clean and organized vehicles and trailers.
• Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
• Provide quality service to customers and represent the company professionally.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely pull and back trailers.
• Previous landscaping or lawn maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more regularly.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely.
• Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
