We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team. As a Crew Leader, you will oversee a team of lawn maintenance technicians, ensuring the highest level of service is provided to our clients. You will be responsible for coordinating and leading lawn care activities, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring quality standards are met on each job site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of lawn maintenance crew members on residential and commercial properties.
- Assign tasks to crew members, ensuring efficient use of resources and time.
- Perform hands-on lawn maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, weeding, and general landscaping duties.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Conduct site assessments, take measurements, and evaluate the needs of each property.
- Ensure the team adheres to safety guidelines and company protocols.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction by providing quality lawn care services and addressing any client concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of job progress, equipment usage, and timekeeping.
- Provide training and development opportunities for crew members to improve performance and skills.
- Manage inventory of lawn care supplies, ensuring adequate stock for each job.
- Foster a positive and productive team environment, leading by example.
- Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth job execution.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or a related field is required.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in lawn maintenance or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of lawn care equipment, tools, and maintenance techniques.
- Ability to effectively manage a team, delegate tasks, and motivate crew members.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites/ DOT Required
