This role is ideal for a skilled laborer with experience in commercial mowing, landscaping, groundskeeping, and client interactions. Starting Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00 + Salary (contingent on experience)

- Operate lawn maintenance equipment, such as zero turn mowers, line trimmers, stick edgers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers to complete property maintenance services
- Perform seasonal pruning, lawn and landscape bed maintenance, spring and fall clean ups
- Perform Snow Season duties, plowing, shoveling, and spreading salt when needed
- Communicate with clients to address customer concerns and relay client needs to the Account Manager
- Train crew members to properly use equipment and perform job duties to the Ground Works Land Design standard
- Properly record hours and work accomplished in our job management application, Buildertrend
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- Job Title a.k.a. Lawn Mowing Foreman, Grounds Maintenance Foreman, Mowing Crew Leader
- Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial mowing, landscaping, or grounds keeping
- Proficiently operates a variety of lawn maintenance equipment, such as zero turn mowers, line trimmers, stick edgers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers, chainsaws, etc.
- Has an advanced knowledge of plants, seasonal pruning, lawn and landscape bed maintenance, spring and fall clean up
- Snow work experience like plowing or spreading salt is a plus
- Able to work successfully with limited supervision
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment a plus
- Able to analyze diverse problems and consistently make proper decisions
- Able to lift more than 50 lbs.
- Able to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders for periods of time
- Able to stand for long periods of time
