Lawn Maintenance Team Leader-Night Shift

Job Summary

Outdoor Living Southeast is looking for a dependable Night Shift Landscape Maintenance Team Leader to lead a crew servicing commercial properties during evening and overnight hours. In this role, you will oversee a small crew while performing landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and site cleanup.

The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring each property is serviced efficiently, safely, and to company standards while managing a nightly route and leading a team of 2–3 crew members.

This position typically works night shift hours from approximately 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of 2–3 landscape team members
• Efficiently manage and complete assigned nightly service routes
• Operate and maintain landscape equipment including mowers, blowers, trimmers, and other powered tools
• Perform mowing, edging, weed eating, and blowing to maintain commercial landscapes
• Trim shrubs and maintain landscape beds as needed
• Ensure properties are left clean, professional, and well maintained
• Use company software to manage routes, job completion, and communication
• Load and unload equipment and ensure trucks and trailers are organized and ready for work
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures
• Communicate professionally with customers when needed

Qualifications

• Previous landscape maintenance experience preferred
• Prior leadership or crew leader experience is a plus
• Experience operating commercial landscape equipment
• Ability to lift 40+ pounds repeatedly and work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs when necessary
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Dependable with the ability to work night shift hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
