Responsibilities

• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, hedge trimming, and tree care to promote healthy growth.
• Use hand tools and machinery like excavators for hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct irrigation system inspections and repairs to ensure proper watering of plants and turf.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
• Maintain equipment through routine cleaning, lubrication, and mechanical checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Support general gardening activities including soil preparation, fertilization, and pest control to enhance plant health.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining landscaping machinery and tools.
• Extensive lawn care experience with mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing techniques.
• Skilled in landscape maintenance practices such as planting, pruning, tree trimming, and horticulture principles.
• Ability to operate various power tools safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with hardscape construction including the use of excavators and other construction equipment.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair for efficient water management.
• Experience in snow plowing operations during winter seasons for property safety.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
