Duties

• Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to ensure lush, healthy grass and plants.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for landscape maintenance tasks.
• Maintain gardens by planting, pruning, watering, mulching, and weed control to enhance aesthetic appeal.
• Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows for seasonal landscaping and snow removal projects.
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth.
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering of landscapes.
• Execute hardscape projects like patio installation or walkway repairs to improve outdoor functionality.

Experience

• Prior experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening is highly preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools is essential for safe operation.
• Familiarity with tree trimming, horticulture practices, and irrigation systems will be advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with excavation equipment such as excavators or snow plowing machinery is a plus.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on landscaping tools and machinery to ensure longevity and safety.
• Knowledge of landscaping design principles including hardscape features enhances project quality.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are required.
