Responsibilities

• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure lush, healthy lawns.
• Use hand tools and power tools to carry out landscape maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
• Maintain gardens by planting, pruning, watering, mulching, and weed control to promote plant health.
• Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems to support seasonal landscaping needs.
• Assist with hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
• Conduct tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and removal to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
• Support general maintenance duties across properties including snow removal during winter months and routine landscape inspections.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge for operating various landscaping equipment and tools safely.
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of tree care techniques such as trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth.
• Ability to perform construction-related tasks involving hardscape installation or repairs.
• Understanding of landscaping principles combined with excellent attention to detail.
