Duties

• Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators to perform mowing, trimming, edging, and landscape maintenance tasks
• Maintain lawns by mowing, aerating, fertilizing, and applying pest control measures to ensure lush and healthy growth
• Perform tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote safety and aesthetic appeal
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscapes
• Execute hardscape projects such as installing patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape features
• Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible
• Assist with gardening tasks including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while applying horticultural best practices

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping equipment and power tools
• Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening techniques
• Familiarity with tree care practices such as trimming and pruning for health and safety
• Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely in various outdoor tasks
• Experience working with excavators or other construction machinery is a plus
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance is desirable
• Prior experience in snow plowing or hardscape installation is advantageous
• Excellent physical stamina to perform outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in landscaping and construction environments
