Genesee Valley Landscape is seeking an experienced and dependable Mowing Operator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being outdoors, and understands the importance of delivering a professional finished product at every property.

Position Details

• Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Seasonal Position: March 30th - October 30th
• Potential opportunity to continue employment as part of our winter sidewalk and snow removal operations

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial mowing equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform trimming around landscape beds, fences, trees, buildings, and obstacles
• Blow off sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other hard surfaces upon completion
• Service both residential and commercial properties
• Complete work to company quality standards with attention to detail
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns
• Follow all company safety procedures and property-specific instructions
• Represent Genesee Valley Landscape professionally while on customer properties

Qualifications

• Previous commercial mowing experience required
• Valid New York State Driver's License required
• Ability to operate a truck and trailer combination safely and confidently
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are a must
