Lawn Mower Operator/Sidewalk Crew Leader

Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment to maintain lawns and green spaces with precision and care
• Lead a sidewalk crew in clearing snow from sidewalks in winter and provide and safe walking area for our customers
• Supervise team members to ensure safety protocols are followed and work is completed on schedule
• Assist with landscape installation, gardening tasks, and basic construction projects as needed
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards

Requirements

• Experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or snow removal with a strong understanding of horticulture practices is highly preferred
• Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor or construction settings is highly preferred
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and efficiently
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively
• Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating tasks and ensuring safety compliance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 42 per week
