Lawn Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various lawn and landscape care activities. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and familiarity with landscaping equipment and techniques. The Lawn Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in ensuring our clients’ properties are well-maintained, healthy, and visually appealing.

Duties

• Mow lawns using power tools and hand tools, ensuring even cuts and proper trimming
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, trimming, pruning, and planting
• Operate equipment including excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems for seasonal or project needs
• Maintain gardens, trees, and shrubbery through pruning, tree care, and tree trimming
• Install or repair hardscape features such as walkways, patios, or retaining walls
• Conduct routine maintenance of landscaping equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
• Assist with construction projects related to landscape installation or renovation
• Apply horticultural practices to promote plant health and growth
• Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients
• Follow safety protocols when handling machinery and chemicals

Requirements

• Prior experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators is desirable
• Knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and tree care is a plus
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery including snow plows and excavators safely
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques and safety procedures
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or transportation between sites
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
