LAWN SPRINKLER TECHNICIAN/EXPERIENCED

Job Overview

HI-TECH IRRIGATION, Long Islands Premier Irrigation Company for over 40 years, is seeking motivated and skilled individuals with proven lawn sprinkler installation and maintenance experience to join our growing team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform seasonal spring start-ups and winterizations
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial sprinkler systems with precision and efficiency
• Conduct system inspections to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctioning components, ensuring optimal performance
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized irrigation equipment to complete repairs accurately
• Collaborate with customers to understand their irrigation needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used and work to be scheduled
• Low voltage landscape lighting installation and service a plus

Experience:

• Proven experience as a lawn sprinkler/ irrigation technician
• Familiarization with irrigation products and their function
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
• Must have great communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work individually or with an apprentice
• Must have clean valid NYS drivers license
• Must be reliable

SCHEDULE:

• Must be available Monday through Saturdays during peak seasons
• 10 hour shift
• Seasonal with winter work available
