Lawn & Tree Spray Technician – Applicator

Early start, early finish — great for people who like getting their day done by mid-afternoon.

We are currently hiring a Lawn & Tree Spray Technician – Applicator to join our team. This position works on a two-person spray crew and is primarily responsible for applying treatments to trees, shrubs, and residential foundations while working alongside an experienced technician who handles lawn applications.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, paying attention to detail, and learning a skilled trade in the plant health care and pest control industry.

Responsibilities

• Apply tree and shrub pest control treatments
• Perform foundation and perimeter pest control applications around homes and buildings
• Assist with lawn fertilization and weed control applications when needed
• Mix and apply products safely and accurately
• Operate backpack sprayers and other application equipment
• Identify common tree pests, insects, and plant health issues
• Maintain clean and organized spray equipment and work truck
• Work efficiently as part of a two-person spray crew

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Able to lift 50+ lbs regularly throughout the day
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Detail oriented and able to follow treatment instructions carefully
• Reliable and able to show up on time every day
• Must have a flexible schedule when we have weather delays

Licensed pesticide applicators are preferred but not required.
We are willing to train the right candidate and assist with obtaining an Idaho pesticide applicator license.

Experience in lawn care, landscaping, agriculture, pest control, or outdoor work is helpful but not required.

Schedule

Our crews typically meet at the shop around 5:30 AM and head out to begin the day’s route. Most days finish around 3:00 PM.

Work hours can vary depending on weather, daylight, and seasonal workload, but we aim to maintain a consistent weekday schedule.

Typical schedule is Monday – Friday, with occasional seasonal overtime.

Pay

$15 – $22 per hour, depending on experience
