Lawncare and landscaping helper/Crew Lead

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lawn Care member to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and or work along side a crew of lawn care professionals, ensuring that all landscaping and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Your expertise in lawn care and landscape maintenance will be crucial in delivering exceptional service to our clients while managing daily operations.

Valid drivers license is required

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of lawn care technicians in various landscaping tasks including mowing, tree trimming, and irrigation repairing
• Perform landscape maintenance duties such as planting, pruning, and maintaining flower beds and gardens.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment including excavators/skid steers for landscaping projects. Zero turn mowers for mowing
• Ensure the crew adheres to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Conduct regular inspections of job sites to ensure quality control and compliance with company standards.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
• Train new crew members on proper techniques for lawn care, horticulture practices, and equipment usage.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and any necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or similar fields.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping equipment included
• Familiarity with horticulture practices, gardening techniques, and tree care methods.
• Experience in hardscape installation is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
