We are looking to hire a solid and reliable individual to join us for regular lawncare and landscape installs. We are looking for someone who truly wants to work and grow with the company, not just labor hands. If you are just looking for a paycheck, go to Mcdonalds.

The ideal candidate will be eager to learn the art and craft of lawncare and landscaping, as well as be willing and able to grow within the company as needed into a Crew Foreman. This candidate will take pride in not just getting the job done, but doing it to the absolute best of their ability.

Being coachable and trainable is mandatory (bad experience is worse than no experience). We pride ourselves in doing quality work, looking and acting professional, and being known for those qualities.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, aerating, dethaching, and landscape installs to maintain healthy and attractive lawns.
• Execute landscape maintenance activities including planting, mulching, pruning, and tree care to enhance landscape aesthetics.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks like trimming, edging, and installing hardscape features.
• Use equipment such as excavators and snow plows to handle larger projects or seasonal needs like snow removal.
• Assist with construction projects involving hardscape installations like patios, walkways, sod installs, retaining walls, and other landscape features.
• Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure safety and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other landscaping equipment.
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or related outdoor work.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care best practices.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, bending, digging, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of landscape design concepts and hardscape installation techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Prior experience with tree trimming, tree care, irrigation systems, snow plowing or other seasonal outdoor services is a plus. Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
