Duties

• Assist with lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy, attractive lawns
• Support landscape maintenance activities including planting, pruning, shrubbery care, and weed control
• Operate hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools for various landscaping projects
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or excavators
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties safe and accessibleRequirements
• Basic mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively
• Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools confidently for various tasks
• Willingness to learn about horticulture practices including plant health and soil management
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in all weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials as needed
• Knowledge of construction or hardscape installation is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety procedures
