Job Opening: Arbitration Lawyer (Power/Energy Sector/High Court Expereince)

Location Chandigarh

A leading law firm in Chandigarh, is looking for a highly motivated Litigation Lawyer with 2-5 years of experience in the Power/Energy Sector to join our team as a Commercial Arbitration Attorney and Energy/Power Litigation Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee litigations related to the power sector, ensuring legal compliance.

Draft petitions, applications, and legal documents in accordance with the Electricity Act, 2003 and state regulations.

Handle Commercial Arbitrations, including preparation of Statement of Claims and Objections under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Conduct legal research, prepare opinions, and manage case documentation.

Attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations as required.

Qualifications:

LLB from a recognized Indian law school.

Admission to the bar in India.

3-5 years of experience in Arbitration and/or Energy Litigation in India.

Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Knowledge of key laws, including the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Electricity Act, and Indian Contract Act.

CTC: Rs. 4.5 to 6 Lakhs per annum
