Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review agreements related to property purchase, sale, lease, joint ventures, and partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with real estate, RERA, and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal due diligence for land/property acquisitions.
- Handle title verification and resolve disputes related to ownership or encumbrances.
- Provide legal opinions and risk assessments for management decisions.
- Liaise with government authorities, legal consultants, and external counsel as required.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitration, or negotiations when necessary.
- Maintain updated knowledge of changes in property and corporate law.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); Master’s in Law (LLM) is preferred.
- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in real estate law, property transactions, or corporate law (experience in a real estate company preferred).
- Strong understanding of land laws, RERA, stamp duty, and registration processes.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide strategic legal guidance.
