Lawyer (Bar admission not required)

Job Overview
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Lawyer to join our Discovery department. The ideal candidate will have experience working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and medical lien holders to negotiate reductions on medical bills and resolve outstanding liens. This role is essential to maximizing net settlements for clients and ensuring legal and financial compliance in the settlement process.

Duties

• Conduct research on case law, laws and other legal sources relevant to a case.
• Prepare motions, petitions, and other legal documents under the supervision of an attorney.
• Organize and maintain case files, including documents, evidence and correspondence.
• Assist in preparing documents for trial, arranging evidence, and assisting attorneys during the process.
• Answer clients questions, schedule appointments, and maintain effective communication.
• Maintain legal records and other documents in an organized and secure manner.
• Translate, assist in preparing clients for deposition.
• Assist any colleague with translation

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to draft legal documents, communicate with clients and present information clearly.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in data entry with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Legal research skills and willingness to develop their understanding of case law, legislation and legal procedures..
• administrative and organizational skills to manage files, correspondence and legal documentation.
• Bilingual (Must)
• Juris Doctor
