Lawyer - Employment Law (Intern)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Employment Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to employment law, family law, and litigation. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. The Employment Lawyer will provide legal advice and representation to clients on employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Duties

• Provide legal counsel on employment-related issues, including workplace disputes, discrimination claims, and employee rights.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
• Represent clients in negotiations and litigation related to employment matters.
• Advise clients on compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Handle cases involving landlord-tenant law, immigration law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, environmental law, estate planning, securities law, patent law, tribal law & regulations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm to ensure comprehensive legal support for clients.
• Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in employment law or related fields such as family law or litigation.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Prior experience in a law office setting is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
