Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Consultant Lawyer to support our medical and clinical compliance requirements. The role will focus exclusively on ensuring compliance with applicable medical laws, clinical regulations, and healthcare practice standards, without involvement in technology or IT-related compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on medical and healthcare regulations applicable to healthcare service delivery and clinical operations
• Ensure compliance with laws governing:
• Medical practice and professional conduct
• Engagement of doctors, clinics, and healthcare providers
• Patient consent and medical ethics
• Review and draft medical-related legal documents, including:
• Doctor / clinician agreements
• Hospital, clinic, and diagnostic center agreements
• Patient consent forms and disclosures
• Guide the company on licensing, registrations, and statutory requirements related to medical services
• Ensure alignment with medical council guidelines, clinical establishment laws, and healthcare standards
• Provide advisory support on clinical workflows, referrals, prescriptions, and medical responsibility frameworks
• Identify regulatory risks related to medical operations and recommend compliant, practical solutions
• Assist with responses to regulatory queries, inspections, or notices related to healthcare operations

Required Qualifications

• Law degree with specialization or strong experience in Healthcare / Medical Law
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in healthcare legal compliance or advisory roles
• In-depth knowledge of medical laws, clinical regulations, and healthcare ethics
• Experience working with hospitals, clinics, medical professionals, or healthcare platforms preferred
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills
• Ability to provide clear, business-aligned legal guidance

• Flexible working arrangement
• Professional fees as per experience and engagement scope

Job Type: Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
