Job Overview
M Mental Health and Wellness Plus is looking for dedicated and compassionate MD Licensed LCSW-C, LCPC, therapists to join our dynamic mental health team. The ideal candidate should be willing to come to office at least once per week and will possess a strong clinical background, with expertise in providing therapeutic services and able to provide supervision to LMW and LGPC clinicians. As a clinician, you will play a crucial role in assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions to promote mental well-being. Your role mostly will be to provide supervision to other clinicians
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy and behavioral modification.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress and facilitate stabilization.
- Engage in motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients toward positive behavioral changes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients, ensuring holistic support across various settings.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for personal growth and healing.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at enhancing treatment approaches within the field of social work.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, professional counseling from an accredited institution; LCSW, LMFT, LGPC, LCPC, LCSW-C licensures are required.
- Proven experience in clinical counseling, particularly with children and families
- Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient patient care management and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 for accurate billing practices.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct case management effectively while advocating for clients' needs within the community.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including those facing addiction challenges or mental health disorders such as PTSD.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
