Location: Remote (Virtual Practice)
Compensation: $75 per supervision hour + $5 per clinical note signed

For North Carolina, supervisors must be at least 2 years post-independent licensure (no separate Board approval required). Maryland requires separate Board Approval process.
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified trauma-informed LCSW / LCSWA Licensed Supervisor to provide clinical supervision for a part-time associate-level social worker in a 100% virtual private practice setting. The supervisee may eventually build toward full-time hours. There may be an opportunity to supervise more supervisees with practice in the future, as the practice grows. Experience with faith-integration in clinical service settings is a plus, but not required.
The supervisee:
- Is a newer pre-licensed clinician
- Has licenses pending in North Carolina and Maryland
- Is personable, motivated, and developing clinically
- Will be hired as a W-2 employee of the practice
Supervisor Compensation
- 1099 contractor
- $75 per supervision hour + $5 per clinical note signed + $75 flat fee for crisis consultation
- $75 Supervision includes: supervision hour and documenting supervision
- $5 per documentation item, reviewed + signed (eg. session notes, treatment plan, summaries) using Simple Practice EHR system
- $75 flat rate if an emergency crisis consult is needed for supervisee, provided by the supervisor by phone, during the crisis escalation
- Supervision will meet at the minimum required by both state Boards, MD and NC, in alignment with Board requirements.
Supervisor Qualifications
- Independently licensed LCSW (NC) and LCSW-C (MD)
- Eligible and qualified to supervise associate-level clinicians in North Carolina (minimum 2 years post-independent licensure) and in Maryland (Board-approved)
- Trauma-informed orientation preferred
- Faith-integration experience preferred
- Experience supervising early-career clinician and in private practice setting preferred
- Comfortable supervising within a virtual practice model
- Willing to provide COI to the practice as proof of holding Malpractice insurance.
- Willing to provide a copy of 6-month evaluations to the practice and notify the practice in the event that ethical, legal, or compliance concerns arise that could impact the shared liability of the practice
- Willing to sign BAA + Supervision Agreement with practice
- Willing to provide a 30-day written notice to terminate the supervision relationship unless there is significant ethical, legal, licensing board, harm to client, or contractual agreement violations or concerns that must require an immediate termination of the supervisor / supervisee relationship.

Support Structure
- The practice owner will provide additional regular check-ins with supervisee for support and chart reviews to ensure compliance with insurance-based documentation standard
- The practice owner will serve as backup in crisis emergencies in the event the primary clinical supervisor cannot be reached.
- The practice owner will provide paid training to associates to familiarize them with private practice operations / procedures, and to provide a brief overview of clinical skills to enhance quality of care and workflow
- Practice handles billing, marketing and incoming referrals for associates
