Job Summary
The Learning and Development Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of employees within the organisation. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programmes that foster professional growth and development. Duties
- Develop and deliver training programmes tailored to various employee needs and learning styles.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across departments.
- Collaborate with management to create a comprehensive learning strategy that supports business objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and e-learning sessions to promote continuous learning culture within the organisation.
- Provide coaching and support to employees to enhance their professional development journey.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Learning and Development role or similar position.
- Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital training tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Education, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
