Location Description:
The Flamingo Resort & Spa is a mid-century marvel in The Valley of the Moon. The buildings, rendered with natural materials and iconic angular silhouettes, are the work of master architect Homer A. Rissman. Set on a 10-acre campus, it is an incomparable property for both its city access and sense of complete retreat.
Overview:
We are seeking a licensed and passionate Lead Aesthetic Practitioner to elevate our guest experience and support team excellence. This role combines hands-on expertise in esthetics with a collaborative approach to developing service standards, training, and procedures in partnership with the Spa Supervisor and Wellness Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Esthetics & Skin Health

Perform the full range of customized facials and skincare treatments tailored to guests' needs

Analyze skin conditions and provide expert recommendations for treatments and home care

Maintain current knowledge of skincare trends, products, and treatment innovations, and recommend menu additions and promotions

Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain confidential, accurate client records

Strong understanding and salesmanship of retail and home care recommendations for ongoing team training and individual team goal setting, in conjunction with spa leadership

Assist with spa receptionist and lobby coverage as needed to ensure excellent guest service and smooth operations

Support spa leadership with projects that enhance team efficiency and guest satisfaction

Assist with supply and product ordering, organization, and inventory management
Qualifications:
- Valid California Esthetician Licenses (required)

5+ years of professional experience in both massage and esthetics, ideally in a luxury spa setting

Previous experience in team training, education, or leadership preferred

Proficiency in multiple massage modalities and advanced skincare treatments

Excellent communication, mentorship, and guest service skills

Savvy computer skills for general administration tasks

CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $45.00/Hr. - $55.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
