Lead AI Engineer [cd303]

We are seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design and deliver secure, production-ready AI capabilities within a large enterprise tax platform hosted on Azure.

The platform supports corporate tax calculation, collaboration, and client reporting, and is built on .NET 8, Angular micro frontends, SQL Server, and Azure cloud services. This role will architect and integrate advanced AI features into this mission-critical system.

Key Focus Areas

• Architect and implement LLM integrations (Azure OpenAI preferred)
• Design robust RAG pipelines (embeddings, chunking, vector search, re-ranking)
• Build secure, async backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Ensure enterprise-grade security, PII protection, and compliance
• Design scalable Azure-native architectures (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid)
• Implement AI observability and evaluation frameworks
• Drive performance tuning and advanced SQL Server optimization
• Establish DevOps best practices and CI/CD standards

Profile

• Expert-level Python and FastAPI experience
• Strong SQL Server and ORM expertise
• Deep Azure architecture knowledge
• Proven production LLM and RAG implementation experience
• Strong prompt engineering and tool-calling design
• Experience with event-driven systems and secure API design
• Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor)
