At Green Meadows Schoolhouse, we believe childhood should be full of wonder and that teachers should be empowered to grow just as much as the children they inspire.

Founded in 2018 by Leah Kayes, a mother of three who dreamed of a warmer, more thoughtful childcare experience, Green Meadows began with just nine families. Today, we’re a thriving school community serving hundreds of children across Columbus, Ohio. Our mission: to ease the transition from home to school with genuine love, high-quality care, and an inspiring early education experience.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking Infant Teachers who are naturally nurturing, deeply curious, and eager to learn alongside the children in their care. In this role, you’ll join a supportive teaching team that values connection, creativity, and continuous growth.

Your Role

• Create a warm, responsive, and stimulating environment for infants (ages 6 weeks–18 months) and toddlers (18 months - 2.5 years)
• Partner with children in meaningful, developmentally appropriate ways
• Build strong, respectful relationships with families
• Collaborate with colleagues on child-led curriculum design and classroom experiences
• Observe and document children’s growth and learning
• Bring joy, curiosity, and intention to your daily work

What You Bring

• Experience in infant/toddler classrooms is a plus, but we’re also happy to train the right person

Compensation

$15–$20/hour, based on experience, education, and certifications.
