About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a seasoned A&P Aircraft Mechanic who’s ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of our maintenance operations. Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead technician for piston and turboprop aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections.
- Mentor, train, and support a team of A&P mechanics and apprentices, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement processes, procedures, and documentation required for Part 145 Repair Station certification.
- Promote a safety-first culture by modeling best practices and ensuring all maintenance is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidance, and company standards.
- Oversee workflow, task delegation, and quality control to maintain efficiency and high technical accuracy.
- Assist in facility setup, tooling requirements, and operational planning for the repair station.
- Maintain clear communication with management, customers, and regulatory partners.
Qualifications
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate and (IA) Authorization.
- Extensive hands-on experience with piston and turboprop aircraft.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven leadership or mentoring experience in a maintenance environment.
- Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations, especially those related to Part 145 operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to help shape a growing maintenance program.
- Ability to communicate well and provide great customer service.
