Lead Auto Mechanic

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, transmission malfunctions, and brake system failures
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicle systems to identify potential issues or malfunctions
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
- Perform diesel engine repairs and service on a variety of vehicles
- Provide tire services, including installation, rotation, and balancing
- Repair and replace automotive components, such as shocks, struts, and exhaust systems
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify electrical and mechanical problems
- Perform air brake system repairs and maintenance
- Specialize in GM vehicles and stay up-to-date with the latest GM technologies

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician
- Proficient in using power tools and specialized equipment for automotive repairs
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques
- Familiarity with tire service procedures, including installation, rotation, and balancing
- Experience in equipment repair and maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of shocks, struts, and other suspension components
- Ability to diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
- Experience with transmission repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with air brake systems in commercial vehicles
- Specialization in GM vehicles is preferred but not required
