Job Overview
We are seeking a Lead Barista to join our TG team! As the Lead Barista, you will be the heartbeat of our coffee shop, inspiring our team to deliver great customer experiences while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Your leadership will ensure smooth operations, foster a welcoming environment, and provide a great coffee experience.

Duties

• Lead daily operations, ensuring all team members deliver outstanding customer service.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, food items, and other menu offerings.
• Oversee food safety and food handling protocols to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment.
• Manage POS systems for accurate sales processing, cash handling, and cashiering duties
• Train and mentor team members on beverage preparation, food service standards, and customer engagement techniques
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders as needed, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize waste.
• Uphold café cleanliness standards through regular sanitation checks and adherence to health regulations.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns promptly, turning challenges into positive experiences that foster loyalty

Skills

• Relevant experience for a barista with strong coffee-making skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in a fast-paced retail or food service environment
• Proficiency with POS systems; strong cash handling skills
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for sales transactions, retail math calculations, and inventory management
• Effective communication skills for training staff and collaborating with team members
• Familiarity with serving in a café or retail setting within the food industry is preferred
